I placed Blueground Undergrass at number 7 on my ultimate list: see: http://verdant-rhythm.livejournal.com/99214.html

I wrote there, the following: the great never-to-be-discovered Blueground Undergrass...and then again...Unfortunately, BGUG just like Acoustic Syndicate called it quits.

Well, perhaps that was premature! The Spring 2006 issue of Honest Tune Magazine had an advertisement for Leeway's Home Grown Music Network on its back cover and it, in turn, had six albums advertized, one of which was Faces by Blueground Undergras, and I thought, 'aren't you supposed to advertize new music not old albums?'


But then I went to JamBase and saw that Blueground Undergrass is playing in my area soon. (specifically: Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Harpers Ferry in Allston, MA) and has all sorts of places on their tour list!


So, BGUG wasn't squashed like an ordinary bug after all! Great news for lovers of great music.

Well, music is a passion of mine, except I am always in the dark about who's popular and who the heck are they anyhow and then I name my favorites, and I get past the first few iconic folk/country figures and people say, "Who the heck are they anyhow" and then me and another music lover may just as well be talking to each other in mutually unintelligible languages, for example: me in Euskara and they in Kartuli Ena.
